Audio/Visual-Most radios today are in cars therefore reaching out to the younger generations.
However old generations still have radios in their households today as some channels are aimed at the older generations ages from 70-90.
Tv-Television programs(EastEnders)
Television programs are aimed at all different ages and genders(depending on the program, for example EastEnders is mainly aimed at 30+ of both genders.)
Although, programs such as Loose Women are mainly aimed at women 30+ rather that men as some of the topics that the show cover are mainly aimed at women, therefore not intriguing the male audience.


Interactive media is mainly used by the younger generation as it is the most recent form of media and the most heard of in young people today. The main age range that uses interactive media is 13-40 and both male and female use this form of media depending on the website/blog.
Websites are mainly aimed at the younger generations as it is a more modern way of finding out information.
The young adults and children of today have been brought up with computers and iPads therefore they will have more of an idea on how to access websites, whereas the older generations will not really have a clue on how to access a website and would prefer access information from books .However today's generations use websites regularly, a website such as BBC Bitesize is an education website aimed for people who are in school(10+)
Blogs are also factors of interactive types of media.

Newspapers are mainly aimed at the older generations as this is something that they where surrounded by when they where younger (Ages 40+) and people of the Conservative party.
Whereas most of the younger generations now use their mobile phones to access the news nowadays.
Magazines such as OK are mainly aimed at the female audience as most magazines are about drama and gossip which stereotypically is intriguing towards women.
The age range is of 18+




Your target audiences are really too wide Elle, you have said 30+ and 18+, which is basically about four fifths of the entire population and is therefore far too wide. Don't mistake the target audience for the people who are likely to be watching or listening to a product, they aren't the same thing. Think of an age range abut also consider the other psychographic measures such as interests, intellect, preferences etc. These can be more important than age and gender. Reply to this post and identify more clearly the target audiences. Think of the kind of person who watches EastEnders or reads the Daily Mail. Not everyone who reads a paper supports the Conservatives, some newspapers are aimed at Labour voters.
