 Hair Product-
Denotation- This advert shows a lion in the middle of a field with its hair styled in a nice way.
Connotation- The connotation of this advert is that this hair styling product works on the wildest hair.
The use of the gold colour on the lion shows that by using this product you will get shiny, silky results just like the lion.
Audience-The main audience for this product is female, particular females who experience wild and hard to control hair.
The advert uses the myths surrounding the lion, linking that a lion is a wild animal and that this product can tame the wildest of hair.
Also, the advert is considered very persuading and memorable as it coveys humour through the image as normally you wouldn't see a lion with well presented hair.
Shoe Polish-
Denotation-This advert shows a shoe being used as a mirror.
Connotation- The connotation to his advert is that the polish used on the shoe is that good that it can be used as a mirror.
The suit that the man is wearing shows to the audience that this product is for sophisticate people who wear business shoes.
The colour black of the shoe also implies a sophisticated tone again backing up the idea that this product is mainly aimed at the working class.The advert also suggests that the main gender in which this advert is aimed at is male as there is a males arm in the advert.Also their is a males shoe portraying as a mirror again suggesting that this product is mainly for males.



Mouthwash-
Denotation- The denotation to this advert is that this person has bad breath and need to use mouth wash.
Connotation- Is that by using this mouth
wash you will not have bad breath and people will not need to avoid you/sit far away from you.
The audience for this product is both male and female who don't want to experience bad breath linking this to the man in the advertisement.
This advert also is trying to use humour to engage the audience and to make the advert memorable.
