Coronation Street - Faye finds out she's pregnant.

- In this clip from Coronation Street we see Faye, 

a young teenage girl who finds out she is pregnant.

This clip shows the stereotype that people/adults 

think that some young girls are irresponsible/reckless, don't look after themselves and that they don't care about the people that they are affecting around them.

- Also the male friend is being really caring and friendly 

whereas in real life males are considered not caring 

or friendly therefore this shows that this male is challenging

the stereotype.

- Another stereotype addressed in this clips that young children are becoming more and more obese, this is down to the parents that aren't providing the healthy/nutritious diet that their growing children need.

Eastenders- Meet the Taylor's.

-In this clip we see the Taylor family enter the square, our first opinion of this family is that they are quiet "rough" as from this clip the family is being stereotypically portrayed to be lower class.

-They are represented to be loud, obnoxious, scruffy and of the lower class.

In the first episode in which they appear, they are already getting into trouble as "Karen" the single mother to five children (each with a different father) is seen punching one of her neighbours.

-A stereotype of lower class people is that the have lots of children this is represented in the clip as we see all her children each who have different fathers.

-Another stereotype of lower class people is that they do not work, this is represented in this clip as "Karen" does not work until she try to turn her life around which is seen in a more relevant clip.

-There are many stereotypes of this family, another being that the lower class steal/thieve. In a clip of the Taylor's we see the two youngest children steal a mobile phone out of someones car, recently we also see "Keegan" the second oldest, steal a bike in which he ending up getting him and his friend stabbed resulting in his friend dyeing and him being traumatized.This therefore links back to the stereotype of the lower class being loud,obnoxious people.

Eastenders- Bernadette Taylor is pregnant.

-Here, we see Bernadette a young teenager confirm that she is pregnant by visiting the doctor with her mother.

From this clip, we can see that Bernadette is representing the stereotype that young teenagers are irresponsible and do not think about the affect that some of their actions will have on them and the people around them in the future.

-The "lack of care"is also show through the way that Bernadette dresses, her tie is loose and overall she doesn't look very presentable this is also show in her mother "Karen" this could be seen as trying to show the stereotype that lower class people do not care about themselves and their life choices.
